TJ Nelson is a 2024 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Reedy. Smaller young build. 7.64 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman who went through drills in the outfield. Fields out front with good hand and glove position, works behind the ball with active feet, long and loose arm action that projects to continue to get stronger, had infield-type actions in the outfield. Right handed hitter, starts from a closed stance with a deep hand load, big lift and replace leg lift load that leaves him late starting his bat at times, weight tends to stay on his back side during his swing, swings hard with a pretty direct hand path to contact, has pre-swing adjustments to make. Very good student.
