Micah Nelson is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 5-6 123 lb. frame from Chadds Ford, PA who attends Kennett. Young, athletic frame with plenty of room and time to physically mature. Recorded a 7.95 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Staggered start with belt high leg lift and high front lever. Incorporated medium stride length out to foot strike, fastball worked in the low-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 72 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command, sequenced fastball, changeup mix effectively and will continue to improve with additional velocity. Secondary outfielder with fundamentally sound defensive skill set. Displayed proper footwork into the fielding process, gathers cleanly and maintained some momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 73 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a closed off stance with tight hands and negative toe-tap loading mechanism. Compact, line drive stroke with good separation into launch and some feel for the barrel. Displayed some present bat speed and budding power potential to the pull-side of the field, will continue to improve in all facets of his game with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
