Ryan DeArmond is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-2 125 lb. frame from Howe, TX who attends Tom Bean. Shorter young build. 7.25 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has some quickness and got to the back hand well, throws from an over the top release point and tends to throw uphill. Also worked out in the outfield, fields the ball out front well with a short crow hop into his throws, makes arching accurate throws. Switch-hitter, hits from a spread stance with a low hand load and a short and direct swing from both sides, has better bat control and bat speed from the right side. Also pitched, has a standard side step start with a low leg raise and a 3/4's arm slot. Threw only fastballs and topped out at 74 mph, low spin fastball that had some cut at times. Excellent student.
