Trevor Nieuwenhuis is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Brooklyn Technical. Long and slender build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Works exclusively from the stretch with a fast paced tempo and a short arm action to a high 3/4's release. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with some arm side run and sink, mid-60's curveball was a good pitch for him with 1/7 shape and good depth at times. 7.66 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound. Left handed hitter, starts from a narrow and upright base with a tight hand load, lots of pre-swing hand movement that can leave him late, flashed some pull side jump when he got the barrel out in time. Excellent student.
