Mason Cimmino is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Xaverian. Cimmino works from a lean projectable build with additional room to add strength and fill out as a '26 prospect. Starting from the OF, he displayed high effort mechanics with a compact release up to 73 mph. He attacked the ball well with developing glove work and accuracy. Should continue to see arm strength improve as he physically matures. On the mound, Cimmino started from the middle of the rubber and repeated the operation effectively with refining feel for the zone. He released from a high 3/4 slot, ultimately topping out at 71 mph while mixing a bigger shaped breaker up to 1890 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a lower compact hand set, utilizing a toe tap trigger flashing a contact oriented stroke. He covered the zone well and displayed hand speed through impact with further room to work into the lower half and create drive. Posted an exit velo of 68 mph. Ran a 5.12 forty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
