Garrison Ray is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 223 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Golden Valley. Features big, thick, sturdy frame. On the mound he has a Short stroke with a hitch near the ear. High three-quarters release. Works downhill with the fastball pounding the lower portion of the zone. Serviceable FB. Curveball is not overly sharp but frequently executed. In the outfield he showed proper technique and fielded everything cleanly. He throws out of a 3/4 slot with the ability to one hop accurately. At the plate he has a medium base and takes a short stride into contact. He is a strong kid with present bat speed. He has an opposite field approach. Really good when he gets extended. He is a very good student.
