Dylan Shipman is a 2021 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Fountain Hills, AZ who attends Fountain Hills. Very slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Compact arm action on the mound, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, works from the stretch with good direction down the mound, pretty fast and simple mechanics. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with good downhill angle and occasional cutting action. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, big 11/5 depth with some biting action. Threw strikes with both pitches. 6.88 runner in the sixty, plays the outfield when not pitching with a very similar arm action throwing. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall, narrow stance with a short and direct swing approach, opens his front side early to start his swing, swung the bat well with good barrel accuracy in the games.
