Orlando Villanueva is a 2023 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Holland, OH who attends Springfield. Corner build. In the infield, he lacks rhythm in feet but got to the spot, the glove secures the routine play with clean transfer into a unique multi-part arm action. The throws were accurate but lacked carry. At the plate, he sets up with widespread square stance, high back elbow, and busy hands. The bat path is on the longer side which hinders timing and impact. The approach utilizes all fields. 8.31 60-yard. Good student.
