Carter Holder is a 2029 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout. Strong runner, posted a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive on the approach and quick through the ball into release, athleticism plays, gloves it cleanly out front and shows quickness getting out of glove, lower slot on throws with some whip, shows accuracy with strength that'll continue to develop. Also pitched, deliberate pace to delivery with a belt high leg lift, works to a three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, worked around the zone with short life and mixed a curveball with depth and bite up to 69 mph that showed nice potential. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow at the plate; still start with hands, shows some feel for the barrel and ability to engage lower half into swing; worked to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Creates some launch and gets the barrel out; has components to build upon.
