Landon Altizer is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Roanoke, VA who attends Cave Spring. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.02 runner in the sixty, runs well for a sophomore and should develop good range in the outfield. Young actions in the outfield on defense, glove is late getting down, long and loose arm action with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a wrapped barrel load, gets to his front side early, inside swing path with some downhill plane, has an accurate barrel and works mid to opposite field, showed good timing in the games. Good student.
