2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Oliver Van Tiem is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 6-3 193 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NC who attends Orange. Big and strong young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Has an on line delivery with a high front glove coming down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and fluid, mechanics work very well for him and show his athleticism. Fastball topped out at 90 mph with good sink, worked down in the zone with his fastball with angle and threw quality strikes. Curveball has hard spin and 11/5 bite, nice pitch for him, shortened up his curveball a couple of times for a slider look that showed potential. High ceiling young right hander. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
