Gunnar Boles is a 2026 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Christiana, TN who attends Riverdale. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned on frame and additional room to grow moving forward. Ran an 8.18 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set behind the plate during drills, receives the ball out front, gets it out of glove well, can incorporate additional lower half and footwork into actions, shows present arm strength and carry on throws. Fields the ball out front in the infield, shows quickness to feet with long strides, shorter arm action, carry on throws across the diamond. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, big leg lift at start of delivery; similar short arm action with extension out front, ball comes out well and worked around the zone. Fastball topped out at 72 mph and mixed a 12-6 shaped curveball with some depth up to 60 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing. Simple swing, can incorporate additional weight shift moving into contact. Employs strength well and shows ability to work to all fields with jump off of the barrel, can go with the pitch with comfort, can unlock more strength with additional lower half. Very good student.
