Cooper Gaskins is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Ridgeville, SC who attends Summerville. Compact build with some present strength. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has well practiced and coached actions, quick exchanges with a compact arm action on his throws, repeats his footwork and makes very accurate throws, will reach for pitches occasionally, moves comfortably and has a feel for the position. Also played third base in the games and made multiple impressive plays and showed his athleticism well. Right handed hitter, starts with a low hand set and a back tap toe trigger, works inside the baseball with gap to gap contact, gets the barrel out front well and shows barrel control. Seems like a relaxed and low heart beat player who is well school in the fundamentals and plays with confidence. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
