Edwin Marrero is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-9 110 lb. frame from Toa Alta, PR who attends Academy Baseball Comerio PR. Medium frame with a very lean build and plenty of time to fill out. Ran an 8.14 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows good fundamental actions to and through the ball with good glove work and accuracy on throws across; will improve throws with developed arm strength through maturity. Also pitches, works on a good line to the plate and throws from a low three-quarters slot generating some sink to the fastball while showing some shape to a big breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, sets up open with high hands and a high back elbow, loads deep with some wrap; has some length to the swing with developing bat speed and gets on his front side at times but shows some feel for getting the barrel out at present.
