Baylor Norman is a 2029 C/2B with a 5-1 110 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Lipscomb Academy. Smaller young build. 7.83 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and drops to one knee receiving at times, two-step process catching then throwing, makes accurate one hop throws with developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield, has good fundamentals, gets his glove in good position, makes accurate throws from a lower slot, some idea on his footwork and balance. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with his bat on his shoulder, tends to cast his hands out creating some length, handled the barrel well for some up the middle contact, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Very good student.
