Branton White is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Greeneville, TN who attends Greeneville. Lean young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.92 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has good rhythm in his receiving and transitions into throwing, compact arm action and release, some developing arm strength for his age, has the tools and actions to continue to develop as he gets stronger. Also worked out in the infield with corner tools. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a tight hand load, has a big and early shift to his front side, tends to leave his hands behind and get off balance, flashed some impact but will need to learn to time up better. Also pitched and graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Throws from a short side step delivery with a loose and easy arm action, well timed mechanics that he repeated very well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was thrown to spots with good arm side life. Showed very good spin at 2600+ on his curveball and showed advanced feel for landing the pitch for a strike. Also developing a change up.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
