Arum Escoto is a 2029 RHP/2B with a 5-5 135 lb. frame from Parlier, CA who attends Immanuel Schools. Escoto works from a young compact build with plenty of time to fill out and add strength as a '29 prospect. Primary RHP, worked exclusively from the stretch with fundamentally sound mechanics and clean 3/4 release up to 68 mph. Athletic movements present throughout the delivery, controls the body and repeats well to pound the zone and record outs efficiently. Good tempo to keep hitters uncomfortable in the box. Expect spin profile to develop in the future. From the IF, displayed active footwork with ability to change slots on the run. Ultimately topped out at 61 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open base with a high hand set and high back elbow utilizing a leg lift trigger to produce contact to the middle of the field. Lift present in the path with intent to get the barrel out in front. Posted an exit velo of 67 mph. Ran a 9.68 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
