Hutch Bearden is a 2025 OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Bridge City. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength to build, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the ball well on approach, utilizes a big crow hop for momentum and shows some range and agility in actions, quick arm with arm strength that will continue to develop on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Handsy swing with limited weight shift through point of contact. Long swing path through the zone, shows comfort working to pull side, front side occasionally opens early in swing, flashed lift in swing when extended out front. Very good student.
