Brady Lopez is a 2024 SS with a 5-7 152 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County. Young, square shouldered frame with room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.41 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, young actions and will continue to refine footwork, long arm action working to an over-the-top release point on throws across diamond, works through the ball. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate, upright stance with weight loaded on backside at start. Subtle shift moving into contact, long swing path through the zone, utilizes contact oriented approach. Projects with additional lower half incorporated into swing, shows comfort working to pull side at point of contact. Very good student.
