Dalton Wallace is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Grapevine. Ran a 7.29 second sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall lanky build. Works with smooth mechanics down the hill maintaining a good line to the plate with a medium arm stroke up to a three-quarters arm slot. The fastball maintained in the 73-77 mph range getting to both halves of the plate with some regularity. Mixed in the breaking ball with some feel for the spin landing with 11-5 shape in the mid 60's. Used the changeup as the third offering with some sinking action at 66-68 mph giving him three pitches for strikes. Fields the ball deep at first base with young footwork on the double plays feeds as he gets his hips around to make the throw to second base with average arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using a simple pick up put down trigger to time up the swing. The path can get long at times but finds the timing to get the barrel out front at contact hitting the ball to the left-center field gap at his best with some feel for the barrel. Excellent student.
