2021 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Gibson Sinke is a 2024 LHP with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Hudsonville, MI who attends Hudsonville. Very slender young build with tons of physical projection remaining. Throws from a low 3/4's arm slot on the mound with a nice whippy arm action, arm works well from this slot, not consistent yet getting over his front side, will drop down near sidearm at times. Steady fastball in the low 80's, topped out at 82 mph with good running life at times. Sweeping curveball from the same slot, also developing a change up. Will be very interesting when he starts to get some strength with the way his arm works. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Showed good athleticism in the outfield, same hard front side and lower arm slot in drills as he showed on the mound while pitching. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open stance, late hand trigger to start his swing, rotational upper body swing with the beginnings of some bat speed, hits to all fields. Excellent student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
