2025 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Nathan Ochirsukh is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Washougal, WA who attends Camas HS. Started the event off clocking a 5.10 40-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Features a medium-sized lean build. In the OF, showed quality actions. Some hesitation to start but creates some momentum later in the approach where he fields it with an out front reception where head/eyes are down and behind it. Used a shorter arm action that got off slightly uphill throws, sailing a couple but flashing above avg. strength for his level (79 mph). At the plate, operates from an even stance and uses a softer toe tap trigger. Gets to launch late which caused some deeper contact points. Swing works with some length early, taking longer to enter the zone. Found himself on-barrel later in his BP round where his best results were hard flyballs through the middle of the field. Barrel path worked flatter into contact. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Worked consistently behind the baseball but at times got stuck on his backside. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch and used a drop/drive type operation down the mound with avg. pace, quickness and length (on-line). Medium arm path out the back where the elbow pushes through a bit and works to a normal 3/4 slot (avg. armspeed). FB showed normal 4S shape in the upper 70s, T78 with below avg. raw spin (~1400). Mixed in developing secondaries, a slurvy low spin breaker in the low 60s and a low 70s straight changeup.
