Dominic Almazan is a 2023 OF/ with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from West Covina, CA who attends Bishop Amat. Recorded a 6.90 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Big frame with a long and lean build and plenty of room to fill. Primary outfielder, fields out front and stays upright throughout. Passive approach with a long and full arm action, showed accurate throws that were low and on a line. Actions were a bit stiff, can carry his momentum better through the ball. Right-handed hitter with an open and narrow base, stays tall in his stance and drifts forward. High hand and back elbow set, drops hands into contact. Middle to pull side approach, has the ability to create lift. Can cast and get long at times, at his best when reaching extension out front and swinging with intent. Good student.
