Christian Behrens is a 2023 1B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 260 lb. frame from Toledo, OH who attends Toledo Early College. Large frame with strong, mature build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Hits from even, narrow-based stance with compact hands, minimal hand load, good strength, can get the ball in the air with carry pull-side, stays committed to the middle of the field. Worked out at first base, sweeping funnel out front with hands, turns well and shows footwork, clocked up to 70 mph on throws. Also pitched, simple operation, short crossfire stride, arm drags behind some, fastball worked 70-73 mph, showed breaker with depth. Very good student.
