2024 EC Lumberjack's Workout Showcase
Matthew Brittingham is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-9 151 lb. frame from Lewes, DE who attends Sussex Academy. Lean, high waisted frame with tons of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.92 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with slightly higher leg lift into balance, slight hip turn to create deception and works down the slope with good direction out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-70s for the majority of his outing with short arm-side life to it and topped out at 74 mph from an extended over-the-top arm slot. Commanded fastball well to both sides of the plate, landed 1-7 shaped breaker ball with two-plane tilt for strikes and completed three-pitch mix with well-replicated changeup that flashed some fade to it. Simple, repeatable delivery with good command and feel for spin, will continue to add velocity as he physically matures. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
