Derek Guzman is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Davidson Day. He ran a 7.74 second sixty. A primary second baseman with a lean build. On the infield he showed firm hands with developing footwork as he comes through the baseball, the arm action is short with a quicker release as he showed accuracy across the diamond. In the outfield he works under control to the baseball fielding it off of the left foot with he same short arm action with developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and little pre swing movement. The barrel works totes inside part of the baseball with developing bat speed as he used the opposite field at his best.
