Jose Luis Nunez is a 2022 RHP with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.60 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, slender frame with room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with good intent down the mound using a short arm stroke through a just above three-quarters slot with good arm speed to generate some run on the fastball while showing feel for a big vertical breaking ball. Also worked out in the infield, takes short strides to the ball and shows quickness to his hands with a clean glove and solid funnels. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide in the lower and slightly open; has length to the swing and looseness to his hands as he shows some feel for the barrel on a linear swing plane and developing impact strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
