2021 California Workout Camp Session 4
Adam Amaro is a 2021 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Olympian. He ran a 7.87 second sixty. A primary catcher with an average build. Behind the plate he starts in a low set position with firm hand actions revcieving the ball, his throws showed some carry from a short arm action as he gains ground into his throws. On the infield he receives the ball square with limited feel for the glove action and average arm strength. In the outfield he funnels the ball in smoothly with some athleticism in his actions as the arm works short through he back with average carry on his throws. On the mound he works with a slower paced delivery with simple actions, the pace picks up as he comes to the plate, the fastball sat 74-77 mph from a three-quarters slot, he maintains the arm slot on the breaking ball with decent 11-5 shaped breaking ball. Left-handed hitter, showed a shorter swing path with the ball coming off the barrel well, he repeats the swing well getting the bat head out constantly and working best to the pull side with decent bat speed. Good student.
