Xavier Sher is a 2029 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Monsignor Farrell. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 9.06 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out to side, works into a full arm action through the back, tends to get under the ball at release, can continue to maintain momentum in lower half through release. Shorter arm stroke on throws across the infield, young actions, shows accuracy on throws to first base, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, low hand set at belt, higher leg lift at start of delivery. Gathers onto backside, fastball topped out at 65 mph, will continue to refine delivery and release. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a bent knee base, high hand set and back elbow at start. Lowers hands at start of swing, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing with small hover; Contact oriented approach, best when working on a linear path, contact to all fields, handsy swing.
