Jay Bielamowicz is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Jersey Village. Very nice young pitcher's build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Works from a standard wind up with good direction down the mound, shorter arm swing to a 3/4's arm slot, still developing feel for a consistent release slot. Fastball worked in the low 70's, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Also threw a soft curveball with developing spin. 7.99 runner in the sixty. Worked out at both first base and in the outfield, much better suited for first base, has an idea on his footwork and turns well on his throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a slightly closed stance, has a hands driven swing, gets the barrel out and around the ball for mostly pull side contact. Excellent student.
