2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Ethan Williams is a 2027 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Alexander. Medium frame with lean current build and wiry strength with explosive twitch to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in an impressive 6.55 seconds. Primary position outfielder, showing quick feet, getting to the ball with game speed and proper angles. Solid fundamentals all around, clean transfer and works to compact arm action generating throws up to 85 mph back to bags. Young athlete with game changing speed that should play well here. RHH working from a wide and even base with high handset and high back elbow rocking back into his backside. Middle of the field impact with linear path to the ball peppering line drives gap-to-gap. Emerging power, showing signs with hand strength at contact and consistently on the barrel. Hitterish actions here with intriguing foot speed. Outstanding student as well.
