Coltin McKeel is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 5-6 152 lb. frame from Whispering Pines, NC who attends Union Pines. Recorded a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame. Worked into a clean transfer and worked to create ground behind the plate. Delivered one hop throws down to second base. Recorded a pop time of 2.28 in workouts. Rounded the ball well in the outfield and employed a compact arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Also worked out in the infield and showed comfort ranging up the middle. Shorter arm action and threw across the diamond from a high slot. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Utilizes a toe tap timing trigger and takes an inside path to the baseball. Showed noticeable hand speed and stayed on the barrel, producing hard contact throughout. Showed best power to left centerfield. Secondary pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Medium length arm stroke and releases from a 3/4 slot. Repeats the operation well and fastball topped at 70 mph with sinking action, flashing occasional cut.
