Beckett Frazier is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Mulvane, KS who attends Rose Hill. Shorter medium size build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, sets up in a balanced stance with good rhythm into his swing, medium leg raise timer, short to the ball and good extension through it, balanced and smooth swing that projects well as he gets stronger. 5.05 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, fields two-handed deep to his body, loose arm from a 3/4's arm slot, still developing his basic footwork fundamentals and ability to play through the ball. Took a turn on the mound, has a long arm action from a low 3/4's arm slot, gets down the mound well. Fastball was in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action to left handed hitters. Curveball had some sweeping depth. Mixed his pitches well and was around the zone. Excellent student.
