2024 Northeast Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Fabian Diaz is a 2026 OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Long island, NY who attends St Mary’s. Diaz works from a well built, broad frame with strength proportioned nicely throughout. As a primary OF, showcased aggressive footwork and consistently released from an over the top slot up to 79 mph. He did a nice job of carrying momentum downhill with plenty of projection remaining in terms of arm strength. Offensively, the righty started from an upright even base with a compact hand set. Diaz repeated the stroke well with consistent line drive impact to the middle/pull side of the field. Flashed bat speed through the zone, posting an exit velo of 77 mph. Ran a 5.21 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
