Cayden Hingst is a 2025 C/2B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and lean build. Solid receiver with good actions behind the plate with pocket awareness. Lateral agility and flexibility while blocking. Traditional stance on throws with clean exchange and developing arm strength. Works hard behind the plate and with added size to his lean frame the arm strength will increase. Switch-hitter with a slightly open stance from the left side. Hand separate into slot with knee-lift trigger and lofted bat path through the zone. Early trigger from the right side getting the stride down early with linear bat path through the zone. More impact from the left side with lofted path. Excellent student.
