2024 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 11)
Harris Chafin is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends North Oconee. Tall and slender build with lots of physical projection remaining. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has some quickness in his hands and the start of some young bat speed, did a good job of getting the barrel out front and hitting through the ball, mostly pull side contact, projects well as a hitter. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop, has third base actions and projection moving forward, fields the ball cleanly, tends to get his feet too close together, longer gather and arm action with a higher arm slot, had some carry on his throws with more to come. Also worked out in the outfield with infield type actions.
