Immanuel Gaines is a 2025 3B/C/2B with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Shadow Creek. Primary 3B with a clean 2-hand gather and funnel to chest. Has a quick transfer and release when fielding it cleanly. Was accurate with his throws with a quick first step. Developing arm strength. Also played catcher setting up from the crouch. Sets up with a two knee side saddle and opens up quickly. Showed good actions behind the plate in game action. Ran a 7.47 sixty. Right handed hitter with a more narrow and upright stance with a high hand set. Uses a knee trigger and stride for timing and rhythm. Stride will close and cut himself off at times and can clean up the swing path at times. Can clean up the swing path and direction of stride which will allow the swing to play much better.
