Jefferson Hodge is a 2027 OF/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Norman, OK who attends Mount Saint Mary. He has a good frame with a lean, athletic build with present strength and room to add more as he matures physically. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.58 seconds. Primary outfielder that stays back on the ball and fields it out in front of his body with two hands. He transfers the ball cleanly and has a smooth throwing motion. He had a quick arm stroke that he is able to create whip through his arm with that allows him to generate nice carry on his throws to the base. Secondary middle infielder that showed the ability to move well to both sides of his body. He has quick feet and is able to get into a good fielding position consistently. He has a good feel for the glove and funnels it into his body well. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is narrow with high hands and a high back elbow. He keeps his hands deep into his load and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He does a nice job of getting the barrel on plane with the pitch and working through the baseball. He showed good hand speed at the plate that generated in nice bat speed. He has an up-the-middle approach and has the ability to pull the ball with intent.
