2023 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Maddox Bonner is a 2026 C/RHP, SS, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Carrollton, GA who attends Carrollton. Physical build with obvious strength in the frame. Ran a 8.05 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, slightly open front side in the stance, knee lift trigger stride. Uphill bat path through the zone, showed the ability to get the barrel extended and hit the ball hard into the pull-side gap. Primary catcher, high setup behind the dish, compact arm action to a higher release point. Works well out of the crouch, developing accuracy, arm strength really plays, recorded throws up to 70 mph and a pop-time of 2.09. Also worked out in the outfield, moves around well with athleticism to the actions, one hand gather on the side of the frame, works through the baseball, solid arm for the age, recorded throws up to 79 mph. Great student.
