Jon Fugitt is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B, SS with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from Independence, MO who attends Blue Springs. Medium size, slender frame. Ran an 8.14 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with drop and drive mechanics on the mound and a high three-quarter arm slot. Located a low 70's fastball well around the zone with some occasional arm side run. Breaking ball was an 11-5 shape curveball with consistent shape and was thrown for strikes. Would throw both pitches in any count. Real efficient outing on the mound. Also worked out in the infield showing some developing footwork, and some accuracy on throws across the diamond. Hit from a wider base and slightly open stance at the plate, swings uphill some, gets on plane with the pitch well and showed some barrel control and extension through the baseball. Did a nice job of showing the ability to hit to all fields.
