Ryan Soto is a 2024 SS/2B, OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Everglades. A wiry frame with a lean build. Room to keep filling out. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. A primary infielder who recorded the outs and made throws across at 77 mph. Snatched up the ball working into a gather as he threw across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance. Has a barrel wrap but stays direct to the ball with some quickness to the hands. Good balance in the lower half. Produced line drives to the middle of the field and opposite field with a middle/oppo approach. Had a whippy barrel showing at times. Picked up a few hits during the games, including a double. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
