Christian Richey is a 2027 OF/LHP, UT with a 5-5 150 lb. frame from Saint Joseph, MO who attends Central high school. He has a average frame for his age with a thin build and room to fill out as he develops physically. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Primary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it in front of his body with two hands. He has a short arm action and throws from a lower slot. He has an uphill throwing action and will continue to add velocity as he matures. Left-handed hitter that starts in a wide stance with even hands and a low back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and keeps his hands tight to his body and inside of the baseball. His swing is longer and he looks to make hard contact to the pull side of the field. Excellent student.
