Jaxson Sherrod is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Fort Gratiot, MI who attends Port Huron. A bigger frame with a bigger build. Strength present in the frame. Ran an 8.61 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who gained ground moving through the throws with a shorter arm action. Threw 65 mph down to second to produce a 2.19 pop time. Also worked out as an infielder who fields it up the middle with a corner infield look. His glove worked well and the throws were accurate at 74 mph across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with a physical swing. High set hands to start with the back elbow up. Used a minimal leg lift into his swing. Quiet lower half but had quick hands to the ball to produce some thump off the barrel. Was able to work both gaps and the middle of the field with well-struck line drives. Had some strength behind the swings as well. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the stretch only. Used a closed foot set pitching from the first base side of the rubber. Lower hands to start with a belt-high leg lift. Had a medium arm stroke working into throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Had a slightly closed landing down the mound. Fastball worked up to 74 mph and spun up to 2,177 RPMs. Paired it with a breaking ball in the low-60s with slurvy break, spinning up to 2,235 RPMs.
