Grant Haefele is a 2026 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Marysville, KS who attends Marysville. Medium build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. 7.51 runner in the sixty, runs very well for his age. Young skills and fundamentals behind the plate defensively with developing arm strength, has the speed and base athleticism to play other positions around the field. Right hand hitter, starts his swing with big lift and replace leg raise that can leave him late starting his swing, upper body rotational swing with some hand quickness getting the barrel going, will need to adjust his load and incorporate more lower half in his swing to continue to improve on offense. Also pitched, compact arm action with a tight 3/4's arm slot and a low elbow release. Fastball worked in the low 60's and topped out at 64 mph, throws strikes with his fastball. Also threw a very slow curveball. Excellent student.
