Knox McCardle is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Brandon, MS who attends Northwest Rankin. Medium athletic build with some present strength to build on. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, quick twitch actions and easy actions and hands. Very sound across with ability to change slots and manipulate angles on the move, easy feet that project. Also pitched, standard three-quarter slot and repeats well, hidden through the back. Changes looks and offers deception, plays to all parts with three pitches including sweeping breaking ball and changeup. Right-handed hitter hover leg lift and high hand set, quick short swing. Has fast hands and a sound gap to gap approach. Works it to all fields and has easy feel for the barrel with impact coming in bunches. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
