Zach Hu is a 2026 C/RHP, SS, MIF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Episcopal. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Barrel chested, strong build with present muscle and size in both halves of the frame. Primary catcher, right-knee down set with more rigid mechanics, gains ground on the transfer, shorter arm action, has legitimate arm strength with throws up to 82-mph, things to clean up and refine but real catching tools with a legit arm to stick behind the dish. Right-handed hitter, wider and even base, hands by chest with low back elbow, loose hands, backside pop, present juice to opposite field, developing feel to create consistent extension and work it to the middle of the field and pull-side but has present hitting tools. Strong prospect and it shows across the board, chance to pop with more refinement. Named to the Top Prospect List.
