Trip Kratofil is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Rockhurst. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Big backwards lean to start his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, lots of moving parts to his delivery that he holds together well, has some deception for the hitters. Fastball worked in the upper 70's, more velocity there as he gets stronger. Curveball was a good pitch for him, hitters didn't recognize it and he threw it for strikes. Attacked hitters and got lots of early count soft contact. Good bet to keep improving. 7.92 runner in the sixty. Plays first base when not on the mound, showed athletic footwork and comes to get the ball well. Left handed hitter, starts with a big leg raise from an open start, stays balanced well and swings hard, pull to mid field line drive contact, showed nice feel for the barrel and made consistent square contact. Excellent student.
