Jamie Chipman is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Rogers, TX who attends Academy. Primary right-handed pitcher with a long and lean frame and projectable frame to fill. Only pitched during the event. Abbreviated windup with a short turn to compress the slab from the third base side of the rubber. High-belt lift with medium arm swing to a 3/4 slot release down the slope. Heavy sink on the fastball when down in the zone up to 86 mph (2027 RPM). Curveball with depth and 11/5 shape in low-70s (2173 RPM) working direct to the plate. Featured a knuckleball for a strike to a left-handed hitter during game action. Attcks hitters in the strike zone with confidence and execution. Good student.
