2023 Texas Prospect Showcase
Maxwell Satterwhite is a 2026 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends McCallum. Primary first baseman with a lean physical frame. Really good length to the frame and fits the mold for his position. Good footwork and hops off the bag with some athleticism. Can spin it well and made all throws with good accuracy. Also roamed the outfield and fielded it cleanly with glove starting and staying low. Uses a big crow hop to gain strength and carry on his throws. Ran a 7.81 sixty. Also pitched throwing from an over-the-top slot. Medium sized arm circle. Went to an 11-5 shaped breaker with good depth. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Uses a small toe lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. Quick set of hands with good strength. Showed some feel to launch and create leverage. Big pull side power projects well once he starts timing it up better. Excellent student.
