Shade Cody is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Soper, OK who attends Rattan. Medium build with more projection in store as he matures. Ran a 7.84 in the sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, grounded two knee set. Stays down and creates a bit of momentum in his gather. Longer release with developing transfer. Limited arm strength at present with good accuracy to the bag. Also pitches, short and simple movements, medium arm stroke and lands a little closed, works with good tempo and runs the fastball well to the arm side, good feel for spin, shows depth on a vertical breaking ball, missed a good bit of bats in his outing. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and deep toe tap set. Heavy uphill path with some feel for the barrel present. Creates length and solid impact when on plane. Solid opposite field approach. Took solid in-game swings with good barrel control. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
